Using gamemode got ~20% more FPS but it worked fine without it.
After ship exploded in a singleplayer game it did not go to the end screen or give rewards for that run, it just stayed on the death screen.

bessere performance als unter win 10

Once in a fight with many active audios the audio was crackling. Only occurence once in 20 hours.
Works out of the box

gamemoderun DXVK_CONFIG="dxgi.customVendorId = 10DE" PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 %command%
works great, played co op with windows players, dxvk probably unnecessary as I don't believe the game is dx12, but it resolves a recent dx12 issue on laptops with integrated graphics

Works perfectly, very stable in network connections, errors are not connected with proton, but only with gameplay e.g. accidental deaths

If you want uninterrupted gameplay, stable network and voice connections, choose this game.

Excellent

Latest update does not work.
Game does not start at all, tried experimental, GE, the works, steam says I'm in game then does not start.

Default controller scheme seems to hide the mouse cursor
Runs great, fun game!

Works great out of the box!
No additional steps to play.

When I Exit the game it crashes, Saves are kept though.
This game is in early access, even my friends on windows are having signifigant performance issues. Be patient and this will run well. I have small performance hiccups but otherwise am fine :)
gamemoderun %command%
Have some smal problems same as on windows version. Game is just released.
Works perfectly out of the box

Works with no special settings
I actually didn't care for it and refunded it, but that has no bearing on the Proton status. It works flawlessly out of the box.

Had to drop my setting to low. Shouldn't have to do this given my specs. Minor stuttors even in that case. Beyond that it runs well.
Had to drop settings to low
Launches and plays perfectly fine.

Contrary to my previous report. When actually in a multiplayer game, the Deck can't deliver sufficient performance. The game doesn't crash, but the framerate can enter the teens as the action ramps up. Depending on what your role is in the ship this is anywhere from not great but playable to unplayable. The performance is far below what I'd expect based in the simple (but functional) graphics so hopefully this can be resolved in the future. CPU usage is low, so it's just down to the rendering required.

The game works, but is definitely in very early development and no optimizations have been done at all. Give it a few updates before buying.
The mouse stays locked in the game when the UI is open, even in window mode, however that could be a game issue.
Problem mentioned under "windowing or fullscreen".
The game is very badly optimized currently, which is a known issue on any platform. When actually in a mission, I get around 20 FPS at 1280x800 using lowest settings in desktop mode.
- I only tested this game in desktop mode, not in handheld/gaming mode.
- I played the tutorial and 2 online missions in a team of 3. No networking/online issues whatsoever.
- The game runs on Unity using HDRP, which hurts performance in this case and is unnecessary for the graphical style and quality.
- No optimizations seem to have been done whatsoever, not even basic "good practices" like turning off cameras when they are not in use, such as the one used in the character loadout panel, hurting performance significantly.
- The graphics options are very limited and don't allow you to tweak much.

Mapped random rarely used keys to right joystick.
Have only played through tutorial. Game runs with no tweaking, however only at 25fps. Most settings seem to make no to little performance difference except resolution. Dropping to 1152x720 + inbuilt FSR gave constant 30 - seemed stable from the limited playtime so far. Hopefully the game is due some optimisation which bumps performance up a little bit.

Audio / Ingame Voice was working out of the box. Feel free to switch your microphone to push to talk.
Default Proton had to be switched to 8.0-3.

Seems to Just Work™
Didn't do anything special, just clicked play and no issues so far.

The game literally JUST came out so I'm sure it will be fixed at some point but at launch it's not playable on linux.
Unable to move using WASD
Looking forward to linux optimization by GE or updated Proton. This game looks great.
