The game can't keep up 60 fps, but most importantly can't keep a steady frame rate (10 worst case, average 30-50).
framerate is totally inconsistent, and since it is tightly tied to framerate it is unplayable
As movement and game loops are tied to frame rate and the game has very tight platforming, it is unbearable to play the game with these very unconsistent framerate.

First time some months ago I encountered issues with framerate, dropping to ~50 fps, and since the game runs tied to fps the game played significantly slower. But either it got patched, or I messed up something to begin with, now the game runs smootly
gamemoderun %command% -vulkan
Plays fine
PROTON_USE_EAC_LINUX=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windows gamemoderun %command% -dx12
Occasionally, mouse-trap stops working and needs to be restarted
Can't reach 60 fps
Using GE Proton makes the game crash on character selection screen, seems Proton Experimental in bleeding-edge beta fixes the problem Remember to disable laptop optimization or you will be stuck with 30 fps Can't reach 60 fps, not sure if it's only on linux, ue5 common problems or the game itself poorly optimized, but even with changing resolution and lowering graphic settings, I am alway getting 50~55 fps no matter the changes
gamemoderun %command%
Runs smoothly
occasionally glitches and needs to be windowed-fullscreened again
Controller bumpers do not work, layout is messed up, occasionally detects the same controlle's inputs as different controllers
can't run at 60fps
Not even discussing the fucked up state the Native version is. Never had so many difficulties in a single game ever, i can't even fathom how stupid some of the bugs are, buttons either are mapped wrong or straight up not work (both native and steam input), significant frame drops and can't keep stable frame rate, glitches even vary by switch from Proton to Proton-GE. It's weird because on steam deck the game works "fine" (if you use default proton 9.0-4, Proton GE bugs again)
Refresh rate to 60hz, lowered TDP and GPU clock
Just don't use native, Proton GE bugs the game badly, using proton 9.0 the game runs fine
Probably personal hardware or compositor problems, but my experience went from stable/good to completely unplayable in a very brief time.
Ran fine for the first hours, then for no immediate reason hard crashes the system. Then crashes game every time the save file is loaded
Hard crashes of game, sometimes requiring system reboot
Video sequences (skippable intros, main screen, and so on) won't load at all and display a placeholder
First 100 hours as listed were on Windows
