When starting up a new game (after the opening menu) the display was too big for the screen (even with the correct size chosen at startup). I had to open the menu and change the display setting again to have it fit correctly, but then it worked fine.
Runs perfectly fine after you re-adjust the display when starting a new game. Haven't played for long, but so far no other issues.
