for now you have to use either proton experimental or latest GE to play because of the anti cheat, in future proton updates this will work out of the box
gamemoderun %command%
during some tests, this game only works with EAC enabled if you use the bleeding edge version of proton experimental, and (at least on my system) the flatpak version of steam.
the game does not work with EAC on steam-runtime on my system, flatpak is fine.
there is one problem though, when using EAC the game takes a significantly long time to boot, this was fixed by disabling the steam overlay for the game.
at least for now, the game requires some tinkering to be able to play, like either making EAC work or bypassing it, i'm sure this will be fixed in the future as things updates.
it works as expected
only tested with proton ge, and in the 3 minutes i played this, it worked flawlessly
Perfect out of the box, no tweaks at all, just as good if not better than windows.
Still works after hot fix, proton 4.11-4 made it run a bit better for me.
6.5-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
used proton ge 6.5-2
in the 24.3 hours that i played, the game only crashed 2 times, one while alt tabbing during a cut scene and another during a quick save, they happened in the beginning of the game, but other then anime scenes being sometimes unwatchable, the game runs as expected, no major issues and a very enjoyable experience
runs flawlessly, however, i couldn't get the community 60 fps mod to work, so you will be locked at 30 fps
