After the 1.5 Update it just crashes after opening it through the launcher
Before 1.5 it worked perfectly
gamemoderun %command% --launcher-skip
Crashes almost everytime when tabbing out.
Set TDP-Limit to 7
Aside from setting the TDP-Limit to 7 for a better battery performance, everything works out of the box with 60 FPS when everything is set to low.
Set TDP-Limit to 7
I set every graphical option to low or at least medium and I get 60 FPS.
I played through the whole game on linux and it works perfectly
6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Proton-6.21-GE-2
After changing the window mode to windowed in game, i couldn't select anything ingame anymore. Fixed it through restarting and changing the window settings in the main menu.
When you forget about the sound problems, either by ignoring it or it gets patched, everything works as expected out of the box.
When talking to one specific NPC the "talking" sound effect is broken and sounds like strong crackling. Everything else works and sounds perfect
Aside the (at least for me) not working controller, everything runs perfectly out of the box.
Xbox Series X Controller isn't mapped correctly and as far as i tried can't be remapped, as some inputs are not recognized.
Set TDP-Limit to 7
When starting the uplay pop up shows while it is logging in, but after that it starts the game just fine
steamtinkerlaunch %command%
R4 as Keyboard F5 Button for Quicksaving
TDP-Limit to 7
As I am running steamtinkerlaunch with Mod Organizer 2 i had the problem that running the game through MO2 wouldn't open the game window correctly. Fixed it by setting the game as window-mode.
For modding i used steamtinkerlaunch, which i downloaded from the github and run the script. As a "tutorial" i used frostworx guide: https://github.com/frostworx/steamtinkerlaunch/issues/272#issuecomment-1079998683
TDP-Limit to 7
The text is really small, sometimes i needed to user the "magnifying lens" feature of the deck.
I get 40~ FPS when i play, at which point the game slows down. For example when i set the FPS-limit to 30 the deck controller had a delay, which make selection or even flying a hassle. With 40 FPS it isn't quite so bad but still noticable.
When the problem with the small text and the delay of the control's at "low" FPS would be fixed, the game would be perfectly playable on the steam deck. Until then i wouldn't recommend it.
