Won't load any textures.
I got further than I did before: the game installed and loaded this time. However I got a test card-type background as well as the music and menu items. I couldn't get past this.
Doesn't play with Proton
Boots up, you hear the audio from the splash screen, and it just quits.
Works fine out of the box
If you like playing solo (which isn't what this game is about) you'll have the best experience.
Somtimes jittery, particularly if you're not the host of the game. On a slower machine the initial play is okay but it gets slower and slower as the game gets going.
While multiplayer does work in Proton 4.11, you must make sure that the fastest machine is the host otherwise everything goes super-slow. Ping seems to be a problem over LAN as well.
A non-runner.
Installs, tries to launch, but immediately quits. No version of proton gets it fired up.
Loads but no controls work
Steam controller allows you to go through menus, but neither this nor keyboard/mouse works in-game.
A little hit-and-miss but after launching without being in big picture mode things worked perfectly.
Worked when loaded -not- in Big Picture mode
Worked fine without any significant changes in settings.
Works fine, except for cutscenes.
Cutscenes not displaying
Unable to connect if you have already played a single-player game: necessitates restarting the game before online play will work.
Fine on single player, multiplayer only works in big picture mode.
Starting a multiplayer game when -not- in big picture mode boots you out to the main menu. There were some missing cutscenes.
Unable to connect to a lobby when playing normally. Seemed better when in big picture mode.
As above
Works fine on my system.
Works fine: watch the tutorial on youtube though as it doesn't work in-game
Tutorial level does not work - you never gain control of the character. Everything else works fine.
Can hear the startup sounds and see snips of the loading process, but the window is in the wrong place on the screen and no controls work.
I tried using several versions of Proton; none helped. Tried Big Picture Mode, didn't help. Game is currently unplayable.
Graphics are beautiful and smooth, but audio quality renders the game unplayable.
Audio starts fine for a couple of minutes and then gets severely degraded, ending up as unplayable due to the terrible audio. The volume is substantially quieter (even with identical settings) compared to the non-redux version. I have not been able to find a solution to this issue.
