Game runs amazing on Proton, The native build crashes on start so run it with proton and you should be fine :)

Giant black window covering half of my screen, then another black window containing the "Desktop Mate", Funny enough the desktop mate actually renders quite well but half of my desktop is covered by a black window and she is also in a black window
The game runs amazing on Linux after valve released the proton hotfix for nguard, I can run the game at maxed out everything on 2K resolution without any issue, way more stable than on my windows VM(which it ran great at just crashed here and there)
With GE-Proton9-4 the game runs amazingly, even better than on my Windows Machine, I have had near 0 issues, in my 154 hours of play time i only really had one crash and im sure that was a game crash not a compatibility issue with linux.
This game runs perfectly on my Gentoo Install, No problems whatsoever, ran straight out of the box. Amazing frame rate and zero crashes!

Turning off controller vibration in the game settings fixes the many crashes of the game

Multiplayer is perfect
In order to make the game playable, turn off controller vibration in the game settings!
Easy anti cheat broke the game for all Linux users, Even the star citizen EAC workaround does not work
