The campaign is fun, and all very playable even without messing with the anticheat (steam gives you 2 launch options when you click it)
Changed anticheat files with instructions from a forum post by user "SunBeam" on "FearLess Cheat Engine" dot com. Anticheat would otherwise hang forever and not load the game. This way you should be able to play campaign co-op with your friends regardless of their platform but multiplayer will not work.
Anticheat does not work with linux.
I will count campaign co-op as local multiplayer.
Dont speak chinese, but the game runs fine. Alt tabbing freezes the game however.
Runs fine, no fancy setup required.
Nobody plays this game's multiplayer anymore, but was able to join an empty server.
Runs amazing, no FPS dips and looks and feels the same as on windows.
Works great, same experience as on windows.
Insurgency sandstorm seems to have quietly added linux support for EAC, performance is indentical if not better than windows 10 / 11
The exact same experience as on windows. 0 artifacts, equal performance. Multiplayer also works, i did not get kicked, banned or warned during my testing.
Used to work flawlessly before, now it fails on the startup splashscreen with error 'Unexpected error (#1)'

Used the prefix from: https://www.protondb.com/app/42910#Wb4Ykmz7Y and modded it to be compatible with proton 9.0-3 (edit the version file in the compatdata 42910 folder to be 9.0-3)
Before upgrading the prefix to proton 9, I was unable to accept the EULA (opening the webpage did not enable the 'ok' button)
Game crashes sometimes but it's even worse on windows so not relevant.

Used https://github.com/pj1234678/MagickaFix to make the game more stable
Embedded IE prevents you from progressing into the actual game.
Work out of the box, no tinkering required (I have a laptop with AMD dgpu, i did not have to specify it in the launch options)
mangohud %command%
Works perfectly fine
gamemoderun %command%
Works exactly like it does on windows, the game itself is optimized poorly however so dont expect to get a great deal of FPS at this early beta/alpha stage.
Game itself is kinda boring

Compiling the shaders can take a bit of time, for me it was ~20 minutes but I heard others that spent more than an hour so be aware. You can't compile these shaders outside of the game so it counts towards your playtime.
