Game failed to run first time, run time error, but second try the game started fine and the game has ran since, the game seems to take longer to load universes than compared to windows on the same system, but the game will run and is very playable with a few in game tweaks. Their is a obvious penalty in performance playing this using Proton as apposed to running it in windows. Mouse latency is also a issue.
Overall this games runs good, tho the game has a habit of freezing sometimes very briefly. overall very playable
Game runs and is playable but not comfortably, key inputs and mouse movements have a pretty high latency and the game also has severe texture issues.
AT the time of this review I have played over 14 hours of Silent Hunter 3, the game runs flawless. no tweaking at all Proton 4.2
