Could not launch
Would not even launch. On every proton version it either wouldn't open a window or would hang on the Ubisoft thing before even launching the game proper.
Works great with Proton 6.3-2, didn't try other versions
Only issue is that the default resolution gets set really low, but that's an easy fix
Under bspwm, game does not respond to mouse input after a couple minutes. No issues under a normal desktop environment though.
Using bspwm, mouse input is not recognized after a couple minutes.
Use vulkan
Controller input was completely borked on directx and proton 6.3-2. Vulkan fixed the issue.
Super Borked
Could not even launch. Could not even begin first time setup. Man I really am glad Steam is good about giving refunds in these sorts of circumstances.
Mega Borked
Briefly launched, but would not recognize input. Closed and tried another proton version, and after that I could not get it to launch again.
No issues or slowdowns. Performed perfectly even on maximum graphics settings.
Proton working perfectly doesn't help this game hurting my brain.
Tried proton experimental, 6.3-2, 5.13-6, 5.0-10, 4.11-13, and 4.2-9. None have worked, can't even get to the menu.
Very borked for me.
