Seems to work fine when launched with the mentioned command line option. Without this option the game freeze not too long after start.
%command% --cores 1
Had to disable the steam overlay for some reasons, otherwise it would crash on start. This tweak wasn't needed for my friend using devuan.
As of June 5th 2024 game update, it is no longer playable on linux with keyboard and mouse.
The game launch fine and you can even start your previous save, however you'll be unable to play due to keyboard and mouse input issues.
This game was working perfectly fine before the last update.
Issue with Mouse and Keyboard was fixed, everything works again!
For some reason, on my PopOS distro at least, every time I launch the game it is not full screen, I have to go in settings and just change to windowed then fullscreen and it fixes it self (or doing alt+enter twice just after screen shows up works too). Not a big deal, but I wish the devs could fix this.
Overall a very good game play experience once we switched back to proton 8 to play in multiplayer.
As it seems others may have realized, with Proton 9 the multiplayer does not appear to work right now, the game seems to work fine otherwise in single player. Switching to proton 8 allowed me and my friend to play in multiplayer and everything works fine. So we'll force proton 8 for now.
Even with proton 8, there was still very rare disconnection issue, but it was easy for my friend to reconnect, which may be the game overall still being in early access and the network protocol may not be super robust.
Voice recognition doesn't work as it seems to be a Windows feature, not game based, and I assume this is showstopper for a proper game experience.
