The normal settings works like a charm you can pump up the setting to the highest and the game would still works flawlessly.
With the new steamos 3.5.5 it works lile a charm, you get 40-50FPS in an online session(public) and 50-60FPS in a private session.
I had some problems with the cars steering to the left or sometimes the controls staying stuck on full right or left like a stick drift, opening up the menu when pressing "Steam" button it will stop playing audio, the only fix is switching to proton experimental and the problems all go away.
You have to switch UMA Frame buffer size to 2G to escape the lag spikes, after doing these things you can even play on high settings.
The game will move from gamepad to keyboard and mouse in matches, but you need to use proton experimental and it eill fix the problem
To fix the input problem use proton experimental
The game works great till u launch into a match where u can do anything cuz the input goes to kb&m but to fix it go to proton experimental
Controls feel wierd and annoying
The game is good but you will stay for quite a while inside the controller layout
This game works straight out of the box i did not tinker with the seting at all and it runs great i greatly recomand the game.
Works great and if u have the version on heroic launcher and when u start the game it stays on 1 fps please wait 10~20 minites till the menu appears then switch over to the story mode(dont start the game) open the settings and switch the display adapter from 1 to 0 and it will fix things but the best performance is through the steam launcher.
This game runs quite well, but i believe they can make it better with some performance optimisations
Locked the fps at 45 and 40 in-game, then turned the tdp limit at 10W and gpu clock speed at 1100, turned the graphics on low , and turned fsr On with Balanced settings.
It's great on the SteamDeck , it's pretty good and the performance is flawless, the only time i got 11 fps was at the beggining with the car
I locket my screen to 60 hz and 30 fps for good performance without lag.
It's saying Connection lost and i cant even find a single game hosted by anybody.
Best played with lowest graphics , locking the fps to 30 and hz to 60 for best performance, the game still looks really great.
This game works just fine , if want more battery life consider mixing settings between low~medium and fps lock at 30 or 40
I put the graphics between low~medium 30fps cap
on the highest settings it will sometimes drop under 20, if u remain on mediu it will work just fine with 40fps cap
this game works 60 fps lock at medium settings
