Works perfectly out of the box, even with Remote Play with Friends
Using the Launch Options "-no3d -doublebuffer" is neccesarry, as well as the mod "Arcanum Multiverse Edition".
Doesn't like to change resolution, but borderless fullscreen seems correct.
LD_PRELOAD="" %command%
Cutscenes are missing audio
LD_PRELOAD="" %command% is included to bypass a certain bug with Steam on Linux currently. After ~20 minutes of play in many games, performance will degrade sharply. This isn't any bug with the game.
Runs great and mods work just fine.
Fonts are different, but still readable.
Fullscreen goes under taskbar on KDE.
Runs fantastically, just know your hardware and set the graphics accordingly. Consider Dynamic or Static CAS to assist.
In the ~13 hours I've played so far, I have experienced only one crash. It's hard to say if this is a Proton issue, or an issue with the game.
Disable Steam Overlay to boost performance/stability.
Works well with vkBasalt.
Runs great out of the box, with only minor performance issues occasionally.
Occasional slowdowns in graphically intense areas, but nothing too excessive. Typically during boss fights.
Crashed once when alt-tabbing during a loading screen. Never crashed if I paused first.
Runs great out of the box, even heavily modded.
Use the "Gentleman of the Row" mod for bugfixes/stability. Run the game in windowed to help prevent crashing. Disable the radio on cars/motorcycles to help prevent crashing. Disable Steam Overlay for stability. Use Mangohud to limit the FPS to 60, to fix bugged cutscenes.
Disable Dynamic Lighting to prevent glitched face lighting on the player.
Fullscreen increases frequency of crashing. Windowed is recommended.
With the fixes listed above, the game is playable for 1-2 hours at a time. Save often.
Without the fixes listed above, the game crashes with unplayable frequency.
