Impossible to access the game configuration launcher, so manually editing "{STEAMDIR}/steamapps/common/Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons/P13/Config/DefaultEngine.ini" is needed if you want to disable vsync or change the resolution as there are no in-game video settings.
Actual game runs flawless though. Played through in one sitting without issue
Doesn't behave nicely in windowed mode. It keeps stealing focus and maximizing itself, even after toggling windowed in the settings, and I can not change the resolution either (it only lists my default resolution). Other than that it runs perfectly after enabling WINED3D. Also played coop with a Windows user without issue.
Works fine
Since the Linux depot of this move is entirely broken (it only downloads the special edition DLC (2.6GB) content and nothing else) I thought Id try it with Proton
After downloading 4.8GB the movie plays fine, as do the extras and special edition content. The hidden game works fine as well, and all achievements unlocked too
Built in the Unreal engine. I had to use PROTON_USE_WINED3D else it would just crash to desktop during launch
End credits still don't play and audio glitched out during it, but the actual game runs flawless
Game shows a start-up splash but then just crashes with a black screen because of a NullReferenceException related to SharpDX. Older proton versions don't even get to the splash screen.
Some Unity games (including this one) produce the error: "DX11 could not switch resolution" unless I set PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
and also, as with most Unity games in my experience, this runs flawless and is perfectly playable
