Perfect gameplay with Proton GE Custom apart from not being able to escape from the fullscreen window
I haven't tested in full but I think the FPS cap at 100fps is actually capping at 115fps
Apparently the game still requires Proton Glorious EggRoll (https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom)

If you like the game, you'll like playing it on Linux, it works flawlessly and on par with Windows.
prime-run gamemoderun %command%
My only tinker was adding prime-run and gamemode, no real tweaks needed!
Nice replica of Animal Crossing perfectly playable on linux, feels native and can be played on every launch option!
I haven't played the new 3.0 that required a controller but I really want to, other than that I've experienced and tested the game around and things work like a charm. I recommend opening the setup window to set graphics to pretty instead of the default fast
It's not perfect, but it's enjoyable on both my integrated UHD graphics and Nvidia proprietary

Mostly borked
I had to say that without tinkering it wouldn't be enjoyable since it doesn't seem to run with the default proton yet, so Proton GE was pretty much mandatory for me in this case
The game works, it's not great and you need to downgrade your resolution if playing at 3440x1440 (1440p UW), but it's enjoyable nevertheless
gamemoderun RADV_PERFTEST='gpl' VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 %command%
I had to revert to 2550:1440 in a 3440:1440 monitor, ultrawide breaks the game
I struggled for ages to figure out that there was a problem with my ultrawide resolution, and performance could be better, but the game is marvellous. It apparently supports ultrawide up until 1080 uw and then standard 1440p@60fps, and it's good enough for me
Sound completely broken and crackling over bluetooth headset
The game runs smoother after applying the mf-install fix. For NAVI/rDNA graphics cards I needed the mesa-devel (20.0) driver or the game wouldn't start properly. Adding RADV_PERFTEST=aco reduced the fps drop when loading new areas, so my full launch options are: PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 RADV_PERFTEST=aco %command%
Just some minor issues but after those few tweaks I can say I'm as happy with the game as any Windows user would be
To use a PS4 controller you need to connect it through ds4drv
Opening the menu below the main menu will crash the game
Stutters in games and cinematics
To get the game fullscreen follow this: https://bit.ly/2QUweOB I had to follow it step by step as my default wine profile won't install dotnet452
Stuttering got worse when I changed resolution to my native one (still windowed) but disappeared by changing to fullscreen and VSync 2
