Played fine for 2 - 10 miuntes (Tried 7 times) before the video card woulf lock up forcing asystem reboot.
It seemed to run fine but the video card keeps crashing after a few minutes of game play. Perhaps its my card or drivers?
I had problems with the MEsa drivers until I realized how out of date they were. Updaing the drivers solved my crashing issues. Works great!
Just need to turn it up to 100 as the default audio is kinda low.
Works fine with the given modifications, I haven't had a single issue palying single player. Hanve't tried co-op.
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -nologos
DXVK_ASYNC=1 DXVK_FRAME_RATE=180 Set iPresentInterval=0
no mouse binding, it slipts of the screen to anther screen at times. Not a major issue for me and the game pauses when it happens.
Ran out of the box, jsut enabled Experimental touhg It's possible the lates Proton would work jsut fine.
bash -c 'exec "${@/NewWorldLauncher.exe/bin64\/NewWorld.exe}"' -- %command%
I copied the EAC .so file from the PTR version, it might not be need, just install EAC in steam and check.
Compleatly shut down a few times mid-game , no error message, it just suddenly closes.. Could be driver related so milage my vary.
It seemes to have issues rendering when there is a large number of visual effects going of at once.
Plays good enough but I switch to windows to play with groups to avoid interupting group activities.
Ran with Proton Experimnetal no problems with the enritre playthrough!
I installed it, ran it and played it, beautifully simple.
I did have issues running the OpenGL version but the default option ran perfectly.
