Unable to launch game

I tried a variety of launch options and proton versions described as working by other users that were able to get the game working. The game never launched on my system. It always hung on the intial splash screen and eventually after a few reboots, it failed to detect uplay altogether.

Game launches and runs perfectly. No stability issues or any other problems. I ran all graphics settings on High and suprisingly it ran perfect. Mint users shouldnt have any problem.
Game launches and runs okay
Game runs okay so long as you use graphics settings that fit your hardware. I never had any problem getting the game to run, i just had to fiddle with graphics options to suit my hardware. The only real issues I had were in-game bugs due to this being an early access game.

Ive tried a variety of proton versions and launch options described as working by other users. I was unable to get RD2 to load to the main menu. The game would load the intial animation, but eventually crash with errors stating it has run out of virtual memory
