I had to follow Ginger Prime's Tutorial on how to get the networking aspects of the game to run correctly.
Basically what happens is, when you run the game on Steam Deck after installing, everything runs fine, but the servers default to a region that isn't your region, plus the connection strength is extremely weak.
To fix this, you need to go to Developer options and disable WiFi power management. You also need to set the game to run the experimental build of Proton. Doing both of these things, the game runs really great on Steam Deck!
