Not totally smooth, with some problems here and there. But still better than rebooting for windows. (At least for me)
Sometimes the audio is headred multiple times at once with slight delay. That makes the songs unplayable.
With the new beatsaber version (1.12) the settings i change do not get applied or get lost after a restart. This is ok for most settings, but for those settings, that require a Restart its awful. (changing visual related settings like render quality)
Sometimes the framerate is terrible, restarting fixes it most of the times.
After some trail and error i got mods to work as well. Not every mod however. This is the installer i used: https://github.com/geefr/BeatDrop
Floor was shifting up and down sometimes, offsetting it with OVR Advanced Settings helped.

Menu Working, but video does not start playing
The buttons in the menu (recenter, toggle voice) worked, but playing the video just hides the menu and not starts the video.

You forget that there is proton doing its magic in the background
Fullscreen was on wrong Screen, easy to fix with Super+Shift+Arrows

Using Alt+Return and F11 does not work always as intended
Closing the game can take a few minutes. But its probably a bug, that exists on other platforms too
plug and play like a native game
Tested with the htc vive. I like to invert the left touchpad y-axis.
The game was lagging and stuttering. Makeing me very motion sick. Unplayable.

The loading takes realy long and has no real loading screen. So you are just sitting there waiting for the game to come back.
