Does not work out of the box - graphics are broken even though the game engine is obviously running.
Install went fine. Start went fine. In the menu it becomes apparernt the game thinks you are on SteamOS or sth as it constantly displays controller hints even if you use the keyboard and mouse. Also tells you to reconnect controller if you remove it.
When you start the game is when it starts breaking - most objects, starting with your character on the character selection screen, just look like shadows of the real intended object, as though textures aren''t loading.
You can still startt a game (or pickup a windows game from cloud save) and move around in the world, it''s just not possible to see much except your movement on the minimap. Sound seems to be working.
This was tried using proton 5.13-4
Missing audio gets fixed by switching to proton-experimental from proton-5.13-4
Alt-Tab works fine when using fullscreen setting, does not work with borderless window setting (opposite of most other games)
When a controller is connected the game only displays controller key help even if you use mouse and keyboard only. No mouse pointer on the map also seems to be connected to that. Fixed by unplugging controller if you are not using it.
Maybe some event needing a restart every 4 hours of playing
I added this review since my first review immediately after getting the game is outdated. Everything works now as it should.
Works fine. Perfomance on maxed out setting 120+fps
To select wxga resolution, chose "user defined" group instead of 16:9 It is possible to get that game to crash at startup by selecting wring "Optimization" options from the start menu config. However it worked fine for me after I just ignored those settings

Game did not start at all, asking for C++ redistributable. "protontricks 1351210 vcrun2019" fixes that. After that, it complains there is no dx12 supported. Adding option "-dx11" to game launch made it start. No idea how to properly fix that yet
This is just a quick test immediately after the game was released. It looks fine so far.
Runs fine now, including the movies and cutscenes.
I added this report since previous versions of Proton couldn't play the movies in this game. With Proton GE the game works fine now
