Using default settings I had about 5 FPS. So I needed to reduce the video/graphics details within the game to bump up the framerate and make it playable.

Around 4% playthrough, when trying to give the mushroom to this big dinosaur-like thing, the game will reproducably crash as soon as the "Enter" key is pressed. First, a warning pop-up is shown: Failed to create dump file : '' (error 87) Followed by an error pop-up: Unhandled exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Also reproducable with Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST
Using any out-of-the-box Proton versions, the game wouldn't even start
