Despite the lag, it is still fun to play, and has all the features BeamNG.drive would normally have.*
The initial UI when you start the game is glitched, and you need to be slightly familiar with it before it you use the glitched UI, or find an image of the UI.
Trying to use fullscreen would not work, but setting it to borderless mimicked fullscreen perfectly
*Except using a phone/tablet to use as throttle and steering, but I don't think really anyone uses that, and it might be because the game itself, as it has the same problem on Windows, which is why I am putting it here. As I also mention the fullscreen does not work, but you can use borderless in place of it.
Installed corefonts for Changed-special
F5 yields a black screen, Alt+Enter causes the game to enter fullscreen mode but the game area does not reach the bounds of the display. After disabling using F5 after using F5 to enable, the window border disappears (i3wm), but the game remains playable. After disabling using Alt+Enter, the graphics become bugged and render the game unplayable, but after re-entering fullscreen mode the game becomes playable again (this cannot be resolved using F5). There is also anti-aliasing, resulting in a blurry image.
Resizing using F6 causes a blurry image until window is returned to original size. However, this occurs on Windows too.
runs correctly with no configuration changes needed
the game directory contains a .sh file, and this does work to play the game too
