Borked and won't run at all.
Game either does nothing after hitting play, or using GE Proton 5.9 it'll sit at launching forever and a day and again do nothing. Won't run at all.
Fully froze up on first launch, but works ok afterwards. Activation server appears to be gone, so it throws up a captcha each time it's launched, but appears to work fine. Not quite well enough for a platinum rating, but certainly plays ok.
Runs without issue out of the box using 4.2-9. Launched the game and was able to run round for 10 minutes talking to NPCs, collecting jars etc. Performance on a par with Windows.
Tested landing on planets, jump drive usage, docking at stations, talking to NPCs, using the mission board etc. Everything works perfectly, without any issues other than a very few minor stutters on Ultra settings, otherwise perfectly playable at max settings.
Seems to load up, and play just fine. Only gave it a few minutes but was able to get into the game, and play about for a bit without issue. Seemed to work without any problems.
Runs flawlessly. One of the first games I bought on Steam, so I always like to come back to it every once in a while, and thankfully it runs without any issue.
Valve recommend 3.7-8 and that's what I used, and it works 100%.
