Opening the game makes the button stuck at "Cancel" with the text "Launching", but nothing happens.
Game doesn't launch normally, works after going to Steam > Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache.
Extreme freezes on the main menu screen, can barely even open up the settings menu.

To mod, I installed r2modman-bin
from the Arch User Repository. It's pretty much plug and play from there.

With only 16GB of ram, I had to increase zram's size to 6GB and add a memory usage limit via launch options in order to prevent my system from crashing due to lack of memory.

with winetricks, which is required in order for the F1 and F3 debug menus to render properly.
Most people don't use the F1 and F3 debug menus anyway, so the game is still very playable despite them not working without tweaks.

Sometimes there is stuttering and rubberbanding somehow.

X11 may freeze upon starting the game. So try starting the game in windowed mode (launch options: -sw -noborder -windowed
) and then make the game fullscreen via your desktop environment (On KDE Plasma: Alt+F3 -> Fullscreen)
You might get a few problems with fullscreen, but apart from that it's fine.
