The game has serious lag and is unplayable using Vulkan-based DXVK renderer. Nevertheless, it runs fine using OpenGL-based wined3d renderer.

Overall (online):Excellent
I suggest using the Proton to run the game because the game settings in the native runtime are always reset. Moreover, the native runtime does not support some language mods. The native runtime runs poorly on Vulkan. Disabling TearFree fixes this issue. However, the same trick does not help when the game is run using Proton. On the other hand, the native runtime runs fine in OpenGL mode.
