This on a switchable laptop, with an nVidia GeForce GTX 950M/PCIe/SSE2, running with optirun %command% instead of just %command% and after protontricks 359320 dotnet40 win7.
Seems to be working perfectly past that.
Previously worked but not sure what changed, now network reports IP6 Disabled and IP4 has an IP of 0.0.0.0. Will not connect, none of the network options are changeable.
Proton 5 breaks it, 4.11 works.
Use D3D or it won't start at all. With Proton 5, none of the stations or ships will render. Downgrading back to 4.11 does not fix issue, you have to reinstall after downgrade or the bug will persist.
It's dead, Jim.
Won't run. Tried the tips at https://www.protondb.com/app/359320#EhDlaDR0cB to try installing a custom mono, no dice, still nothing.
Dead on arrival
Totaly broken. Major efforts need to be made on Frontier's part to make this work.
Just works straight out of the box.
Vulkan capable hardware and drivers is mandatory, trying to get it to work without Vulkan will result in significant problems with lighting and missing textures.
If you're dealing with bumblebee, you'll need the primus-vk debian package and use pvkrun %command% as your launch options or it probably won't run right or at all.
PROTON_USE_SECCOMP=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 DXVK_STATE_CACHE=0 PROTON_NO_GLSL=1 pvkrun %command%
Pretty much have to run it on the lowest settings
Game won't start
There was an update for the game and Proton, and now TSW2 won't start. None of the previous tricks seems to work.
Bombs out of box. Must use Wine D3D to run. Launch options that work: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 primusrun %command%
