The lobby host (running Windows) reported having to spam the start button for the game to start, but that may have been a bug in the base game.

On KDE, the taskbar is shown after alt-tabbing out then back in. Fixable with a Window Rule in settings:
- Window Class: Unimportant
- Window Types: Normal Window
- Match Window Title: Counter-Strike 2
- Fullscreen: Force yes
- Minimized: Force no

With two monitors, on launch the window rapidly switched between the two monitors indefinitely, never loading to the main menu. (required kill -9 $(pidof cs2)
in order to close the game)
Once I disabled my second monitor it loaded perfectly.
If someone launched this game with two monitors connected and ran into the monitor switching bug, and didn't know how to close the program with kill -9 $(pidof cs2)
, they would not be able to close the game and would have to logout to fix the issue since it's impossible to close via the UI in that state.

Over time it seems to desync to a noticable degree (maybe 1/4 of a second). Enough that gun shot visuals and audio were noticably out of sync. Changing the audio device seems to reset this desync.
Minor bugs with fullscreen, especially when using Fullscreen instead of Fullscreen Windowed (which seems to work fine)
Audio desync is definitely annoying.
Unsurprisingly doesn't work. The included FAQ does mention that only native Windows 10/11 is supported.
I was able to launch it at first and see the menu (house). Trying to start the game by choosing "play the Joy of Programming" followed by "Start Game" crashes the game. After the game closes, Steam continues to say the game was running, indicating it leaves a process behind when closing. This happens even when exiting the game normally (by leaving the house).
Any launch after the first one didn't produce a game window until I restarted my computer.
This is a complicated game (bundles Python and a Chromium browser) so it's not surprising that it doesn't work for now, but hopefully someday :)

Screen freezes for a number of seconds after starting the game into the main menu (lobby area). Had to alt tab a few times to unfreeze.
Vosk and Windows voice recognition did not work for me, had to use Text mode to talk to ghosts.

After closing the game, the main menu audio continues for about 10 seconds.
