Huge lags in default DX12. Switch to DX11 can fix this.
May crash after when loading a level, after playing several different levels without restarting game.
Image processing levels are working now in proton experimental. The game in DX11 runs fine on my integrated graphics at low graphics. Notify that framerate limits are halved form the options in DX11. Select 120FPS so the game runs at 60FPS.
Plays on my system Proton Experimental Manjaro Linux. Direct X 12 and Direct X 11 / 10. Opens in window but able to expand to full screen in menu. 30 fps on Drect X 11 / 10 mode 60 fps on Direct X 12 mode Kernal 6.10.02_rt14-3.
Crashes instantly after pressing "Start Game"
Unsurprisingly doesn't work. The included FAQ does mention that only native Windows 10/11 is supported.
I was able to launch it at first and see the menu (house). Trying to start the game by choosing "play the Joy of Programming" followed by "Start Game" crashes the game. After the game closes, Steam continues to say the game was running, indicating it leaves a process behind when closing. This happens even when exiting the game normally (by leaving the house).
Any launch after the first one didn't produce a game window until I restarted my computer.
This is a complicated game (bundles Python and a Chromium browser) so it's not surprising that it doesn't work for now, but hopefully someday :)
Game starts up fine and you can click through the main menu but as soon as you try to start a scenario the window closes and nothing happens
Tried DX11 and DX12 mode.
