Mostly the same performance as on windows. No major issues to worry about. Mods works. Proton 9.0-1
In marketing game slows down a bit. Just use a bit of patience.
More Lua errors than normal in Engine Designer. But just reload the engine or reload from save.
Exporting of cars to BeamNG was not tested.
Everything seems normal and funtional until you try and connect to the server and then the game crashes.
This is currently very unfortunate to happen after a hotfix update. Though It appears the devs are doing something to rectify this, but for the moment the game appears unplayable indefinetly.
There is no fancy windows mouse magic going on. It is raw. So get ready to lose a bit and die often. You will get used to it.

Left Click sometimes stops, Just alt tab and it works again.
Pushes framrate online to 200fps and causes system to instantly overheat and throttle. Fix limit FPS to 60 with ingame FPS limiter.
Sometimes audio does not latch to USB audio device. Workaround is to set default in Valuma control or similar to Built in audio and then when game is in main menu switch over to desired audio device.
