Have account from prior to Steam having Guild Wars 2. Steam version can't import or sync with non-Steam accounts, so I have to use a different method.
Installed via Lutris installation script. Left all defaults. Runs beautifully even with graphics maxed on a 5120x1440 Ultrawide: 100+ fps
I did initially install via Steam before I realized that Steam version can't connect to non-Steam accounts. The game installed, and the launcher functioned and the game functioned as expected. I just did not bother to Create a new character and play once I realized I couldn't connect to my existing account.
Runs fine under default installation.
After some 30 hours playing on Linux, I've experienced no issues whatsoever.
Runs beautifully @ ~60FPS/5120x1440.
Bluetooth XBox controller needs to be on and connected before launching the game.
About a month ago loading my main save as resulted in Automatic Fish Traps being invisible/non-interactable. Game still recognizes them as being there.
Lately, when using Photomode, the game is hardfreezing for about 5 seconds. Prior to about a month ago this was never an issue. I've only ever seen this issue when playing through Heroic when it would hardfreeze for up to a minute.
With the exception of an issue with my Automatic Fish Traps, I've had no truly significant issues. The issue with Photomode only seems significant considering this was never an issue prior to a month ago.
Worked fine a month ago. Now borked.
DirectX12
This game ran beautifully a month or so ago with no changes. Today I tried to play and it crashes roughly 2-3 seconds of the spinning gears (after the logo video). I've tried changing to DirectX12, reducing game resolution (via poe2_production_Config.ini) changing Proton version (Experimental, GE9-23 back to 9-21, UMU, Hotfix, every version back to 6.3-8), various launch options including xAcid9's solution, BillyMays' solution, (plus some others I don't remember which anymore), turning off Steam Overlay and every combination of the aformentioned fixes. Nothing works. The best I ever got was the spinning gears running for about 10 seconds on older Proton versions but everything crashes. I don't know what has changed to cause this. Note: PoE1 and other games are running just fine on Proton Experimental, Hotfix, or just basic tweaks.
Switch to DirectX 12
An update about 2 weeks after my previous report seems to have fixed whatever was causing the issues. It is back to running just as well as before. I haven't tried playing on Vulkan, since then.
I'm not sure if it is just specific scenes with a lot of particles or after significant playtime.
I tried the Native port, and performance was slow, laggy, and virtually unplayable. Also save games cannot be transfered between native and Proton versions. Proton version plays as well as Windows for me.
Runs flawlessly
Cloud Sync isn't working. Considering it is a Demo, I'm not too concerned.
