I had the bad lighting issue mentioned by other reports.
This was fixed simply by forcing the use of a different Proton version; After doing this, I could go back to the original Proton version and the lighting was still fixed (I went from GE 7 as my default, to Experimental, then back to GE again; I even tested with regular Proton 7 and it still worked).
I think the lighting issue only happens at first launch, and 'reloading' the Proton version just once has seemed to fix the issue for all subsequent launches of the game.
I have the issue with the Pause popping up and getting stuck when first moving the character in-game as mentioned in other reports.
I was able to exit the Pause menu with the F10 key and then carry on playing as normal.
I ran the game with the "Widescreen Fix", "Graphical Enhancements", and "Sounds and Fixes v0.1" mods available on ModDB, all without issue.
Seems to work perfectly.
Very playable. Excellent performance. However, controller vibration was not 100% accurate, and I did get a seemingly rare crash/freeze.

Controller (PowerA FUSION Pro 2) input works perfectly fine and shows as XBox One Controller in Steam using Linux's standard xpad driver.
However, when Steam is set to use XBox Controller Support the vibration doesn't work, and when Steam is set to use Generic Controller Support the vibration works but is not 100% accurate (some in-game feedback is either weak or missing).
I've not yet tested if this issue is unique to the controller, or if it is a Steam issue instead of a game one. I've also not yet tested any alternative drivers like xboxdrv or xone.
I had 1 crash and 1 freeze in about 10 hours of playtime; This happened whilst in the main menus, never in-game.
However, I also used to get crashes in Windows, so this might be an issue with the game or my hardware config, not Linux/Proton.
