Audio has a crackling problem, but as Blisto91 said in the proton github issue, it can be resolved by renaming the openal32.new on the game compatdata directory to openal32.dll. The Konsole command mentioned (if installed on default route) is: "mv ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/21670/pfx/drive_c/windows/syswow64/OpenAL32.new ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/21670/pfx/drive_c/windows/syswow64/openal32.dll"
Gyroscope doesn't work. Unable to advance from the first chapter without replacing the entire controller scheme.
Game requires motion control for some reason, which doesn't work or it's not detected.
The game is getting to an actual playable state, but it still needs some more performance fixes.
Text can be a bit small for my taste. It has an UI scaler, but i didn't manage to get it to work neither on Windows nor Linux.
It runs at constant 60fps... sometimes. There are several slowdowns in some zones with a lot of player activity (like the city hubs), but once they are done, game plays fluid.
You need to reduce the "Terrain Distance" graphic option to the minimum, or the game will just timeout, making you unable to login. Once you change the option, It takes like 2 minutes to login and connect.
Almost all stockings textures looks corrupted. They have some green big pixels all over them.
At some point in time, game also worked without issues in Proton Experimental. As the time of writing, Proton 7.04 have texture issues with some socks/stockings, and Experimental does not show the character portrait on the "results" page after completing or failing a mission.
If you don't mind that some sections runs at horrid performance (while still being somewhat playable), then there are no problems at all.
Some stages makes the game run at less than 10 fps. Still playable due to the nature of the game, but very obnoxious taking into account is a "Verified" game.
Changed confirmation B button for A button.
Custom music doesn't work.
MSAA makes the grid on 3D map almost invisible.
While the game works out of the box, custom music does not work at all. It's detected by the game, it's listed, but it doesn't play. Just silence. If you assign a track to any robot/ship unit, it goes to the default music and not the custom one.
Need to force 1280x800 resolution on the Steam Deck game menu by going to settings (the gear icon) --> General --> Force Resolution. Changed in-game resolution to 1366x768 and had a crisp, stable 60 fps experience.
