On Proton 9.X: Game was exiting fullscreen when focusing on other Window (like alt-tab or taking screenshots with spectacle.) . No Problems on Proton 8.X.
It technically works flawless with Proton 9 on PCs, minor issue with going out of full screen on alt-tab or taking a screenshot with a non-Steam tool like spectacle. No Issue on Proton 8.X .

flipped A and B
It had graphical degradation (namely not rendering anything that is 3D which makes the battles unplayable) on the Deck using any Version of Proton 9. If you switch to Proton 8, everything is fine.

Game crashes immediately upon opening.
Unable to play.

as the title said... I tried to change the display as both window and borderless but still dont work in gaming mode.
Cannot be run with language settings other than English. It immediately crashes after launching the game with other language settings.
I set "PROTON_LOG=1 PROTON_DUMP_DEBUG_COMMANDS=1 %command%" as launch options and started the game from the script /tmp/proton_/run without modifications. Crashes immediately after launch without the above option in my environment.
40 hz - lock to 40 fps
It happened once, but restarting solved the issue.
Had to change nothing. With some tweaks I had almost 7 hours of battery life.
GE Proton7-35 seems to fix custom bgm, I had no crashes playing them on the menu and they play without issues during animations. Cutscenes play well in the movie player at least, but I haven't tried them in game. MSAA shows broken graphics on animations for some units, but that's a problem I also had on windows.

Swapped confirm and cancel
Custom BGM is finicky. I could only get it to consistently work by using experimental Proton and re-encoding all music files to 128kbps/44.1Khz.
This is the only way I've been playing this game. SWR on Deck is absolute perfection. If you love giant robots, you'll love them even more in handheld format
10 CPU/1200 GPU
Using Experimental will make Custom BGM usable.
play the game without any issue with intel NUC
Custom Music doesn't work
Custom music is recognized but doesn't play. In-game it plays the default soundtrack.
Changed confirmation B button for A button.
Custom music doesn't work.
MSAA makes the grid on 3D map almost invisible.
While the game works out of the box, custom music does not work at all. It's detected by the game, it's listed, but it doesn't play. Just silence. If you assign a track to any robot/ship unit, it goes to the default music and not the custom one.
Custom BGM music does not work. You can see the song list, but none of the song plays and it just defaults to the robot default music instead, even if you have custom music selected.
Works perfectly out of box
Didn't have to tweak a thing
Get white screen and then crashes
Game doesn't load in-game terrain textures after forcibly quitting the game. So far reinstalling is the only way I found to fix it.
MSAA and custom music as reported earlier.
Works out of box

Other then changing the MSAA settings and custom BGM works well
Works well EXCEPT that trying to play and use a custom MP3 track will cause CTD
Enabling MSAA will cause the screen to get corrupted
Everything works fine without modification.
Aside from MSAA, everything works perfectly right out of the box.
Turning on MSAA caused an unplayable level of deinterlacing and mismatches the game resolution to the monitor.
The game works out of the box minus the custom soundtrack issue
Works fine but game crashes when trying to play custom music
When Trying to load the Custom Music the game crashes by simple playing it .
Just that the game works fine Overall but custom soundtrack crashes the game
Game appears to work on par with windows, no issues as of yet
GO FORTH MY /M/EN!
Game crashes if you try to play custom music from the SRWMUSIC folder. Otherwise, the game plays perfectly so far. Will update as necessary as I play through the game.
