Works perfectly well aside from opening and ending videos
There are two videos in the game, the opening and the ending. They didn't work for me. They don't contain any relevant content though, so no big deal
My DualShock 4 gamepad was not detected, though it is detected normally by other games which use Proton. I think this may be because of Proton-GE
I'm mostly submitting this report because my laptop has an Intel iGPU and a pure Wayland setup (with sway). Unlike the other reports, the native version did NOT work, in fact it consistently freezes my system (I have to power off the laptop using the power button since NOTHING responds). Tried using Vanilla Proton, but the game just wouldn't start. Only GloriousEggroll's proton fork got this game starting (Proton-6.12-GE-1, the latest release at the time of writing)
With latest Proton, no problem whatsoever. Even the opening movie works out of the box (not always the case with VNs)
Works perfectly well with recent proton but install of plugins needed to see the videos (the videos are important !)
The videos didn't work out of the box (and they are important for the plot !), but following instructions here I was able to install the relevant plugin and get them to work
I'm submitting this report a few months after I played, but I figured better late than never. So memory is a bit shaky. That being said I do remember the game running well aside from the videos, but that the videos were easy to fix by following other people's instructions (I don't remember the specifics myself unfortunately)
Works quite well overall out of the box
At one specific point in the game, the game crashed repeatedly. However, the crashes weren't entirely consistent - meaning if I crashed, I could reboot the game, and the game would actually crash further than the first time, so by spamming saves and loading after crashes I got passed this difficult moment. Only happened in one specific section of the game, not all the time
Didn't finish the game because of plot issues (playing Chaos;Head first is apparently recommended), but no big issues outside of the crashes for the time I played
Everything was working fine using proton 3.16. Played with a DualShock 4 controller without troubles. No launch options used
Actually using some of the options described here degraded performances, but without any launch option the game worked fine. I used options because the game wouldn't launch at first, Gentoo requiring a manipulation to get it to work (because of IIRC some parameters that are configured differently in Gentoo compared to other distros). It's been quite a while so don't remember the exact problem but it was easy to fix.
Works perfectly well out of the box
Played a couple games against the AI without issues. The game is better against actual people but I didn't test multiplayer
Works perfectly well out of the box
Didn't finish the dungeon mini game (sadly). But given that I encountered no issue whatsoever, and went all the way to level 30, I dont think it should cause any issue
