Seemed to have a little crackling, maybe from my bluetooth headphones. Need further testing
INTENSELY slow at the start, prob due to caching files. Works just fine after a match or two on a map, stutters every time you enter a new map
Disconnected a few times on new maps due to stuttering. Fine after a few hours.
Extremely unstable. Otherwise fine. Proton 6.3
Almost every time play is clicked, frequently when loading, or launching, sometimes during gameplay
Yeah it runs on 4.11 but there's no reason to, it's not smoother on Proton on 5.0 or 4.11
Runs incredibly slow on Proton 5.0
It's borked, doesn't start at all
Shame cause it looked fun on OneyPlays. Hopefully the full game supports Linux
Used to work perfect with hardly any tinkering, now doesn't launch at all
On top of that, this is the whole log it outputs:
====================== Proton: 1603141982 proton-5.0-10b SteamGameId: 22380 Command: ['/home/chris/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/FalloutNVLauncher.exe'] Options: {'forcelgadd'}
This is playable if you can get past the menu screen, at least for the games I tried
Changing window size seems to cause crashes
Opening window takes an unusually long amount of time
Ball speed changes randomly
ball speed seems variable - not sure if a game issue or a linux issue. steamVR shows no slowdown.
Seems to only have support for vive controllers. Works fine with index controllers but is confusing
It's completely broken on Ubuntu Focal, 20.04, as ProtonTKG can't be installed due to unmet dependencies
however once Ubuntu Groovy Gorilla comes out (Oct 15th) the standard C ver will be the one required by ProtonTKG, so the precompiled binary might work, either that or you can compile it yourself but good luck with that
Lame that valve doesnt even make their own games work on Linux
Always crashes after loading
