Audio natively was borked, switched to proton and was fixed
Using native linux support causes SHiFT to not be contactable, only fixed by forcing it to run in proton
Game is stuttery, not unplayable at lower graphics settings
If you only want to play solo, no tinkering is required
Played with raytracing low settings, motion blur off, high crowd density and stuck at 60-70 frames
Max settings, stayed at the 60 cap with no dips
Works as it would on windows
The bugs I encountered are rare so 99% of players would be fine
USB Keyboard wouldn't work, fixed by plugging in and using a PS/2 keyboard Mouse sometimes doesn't lock to window, fixed by restarting the game
Have a spare PS/2 keyboard (I got mine for $2 ;])
Steam server connection issue (no casual matchmaking or items, can still connect to community servers), somehow fixed permanently by streaming the game to my laptop once. Launching in OpenGL causes lighting bugs fixed by switchng to Team Fortress 2 launch option
OpenGL causes weapons such as australiums to appear very shiny to the point of looking almost silver
LAN server works fine
Crashed on epilepsy warning screen, fixed by forcing experimental proton + disabling steam overlay
In case, like mine, with the epilepsy screen crash, tinkering is required
