Crashes after initial cutscene with default settings
Basically the into "cutscene" plays ok, but the moment the first level is rendered, an error dialog window pops up, saying "P (HRESULT = 0x80004003)"
Bummer.
Workaround: the game seems to survive loading the first level if you go into "Preferences" and switch to the "Win" theme, instead of the default one. Not sure how consistent that is...
There were occasional bugs, but they are probably just game bugs being faithfully replicated on Linux. The game works great!
The mouse, when in 2d screens like the menu or the pip boy, is very sensitive. 3d mode is fine. According to other reviews, this is fixable by editing ini files.
Lol bethesda.
Enabling fullscreen caused the game to jump off to the side of my monitor, with only a few pixels visible. Pressing the same button again can be used to disable it.
If you can get the game started, it runs well, but the EA launcher crashes constantly, making the game very hard to launch.
I have found some success in alternating between proton versions. (Switching between Experimental and 6.0.3 will... sometimes work, I think?) However, it often takes 20-30 minutes of "launch, several windows pop up, glitch around, crash, launch again..." before you can play the game. Not exactly ideal.
Ending cutschene was garbled, but the game was otherwise playable. Just watched the end on Youtube.
Gameplay was generally choppy
Runs almost like native
Even on my older hardware, game ran at 60 fps in most places. Dipped to ~40 fps in some areas with huge vistas, but was thoroughly playable.
