Unable to start the game

Unable to start the game. have tried proton experimental, 9, 8 and 6. The game looks like its going to start when you click the launch button, and it tries, and then the button changes back to the green launch button. This happened on another game, and when i switched to proton 9 and used DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME="NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti" %command% that fixed the issue as it seems like the newer kernel may have an issue with trying to present the game to the MOBO display as opposed to the GPU display. However, I only have the GPU display. This didnt work here though. Tried many different launch options and even reviewed logs but couldn't identify what the issue was.
Worked great until about two weeks ago.

Was running it under proton 8.0-5 out of the box, no additional start up options. Ive tried all the various protons from 8, 9, Hot Fix, Experiemental, Exp Bleading Edge, etc. Ive tried all the various start up optiosn listed here. Nothing works. Game starts to load, gets passed EAC loading screen and then just stops. Started after upgrading to Nvidia 550 and Mesa 24.0 drivers.
