Run as good as it can, audio perfect, cutscenes perfect I didn't notice any issue at all.
I did encounter a problem that prevented the game from launching and is the same problem that is pointed in other reports, when you have the game installed in a secondary library the game refuses to launch. The solution: make a secondary D: drive pointing to the folder where the game files are. It seems to me that the easiest way is using the wineconfig GUI the command should be something like
"WINEPREFIX=/***/steamapps/compatdata/460790/pfx/ winecfg"
Obviously replace *** with the route to the steam library. And that's it.
I guess someone could patch this little bug and it would run 100% perfect out of the box.
You only need to install the MF-fix to get cutscenes, this also fixes some animations. The rest work as intended as far as I can tell.

Works perfectly with this GE version. Haven't tried with others, no need to set launch options. Everything works, video, sound, etc. I haven't played the game for long but so far is perfect
Everything works out of the box, i just directly used this GE version but probably will work the same with standard proton.

I just used the latest GloriousEggroll build 5.9-GE-3-ST
I don't remember if I even tried the default steam play setup or when directly with ProtonGE nevertheless everything works as it should, even the steam link worked and that didn't work on Windows 10 when I tried. Video playback which tends to be a problem also works ok

it doesn't play the video which is big thing since it's an FMV game. Same with GE

at random intervals the game will pause and go to menu, didn't happen that often, like 6 to 7 times during a playthrough.
I also installed K-lite code pack as the previous report indicates, that didn't make the game work and i don't know if it had any effect, it only worked after i installed wmp9 through protontricks. also i don't think the latest glorious eggroll proton version that i'm using is necessary, it should work with the default too as long as you tweak through protontricks, but i didn't test that.
While it doesn't even launch out of the box, it works perfectly with the latest version of proton GE at least i didn't notice any issue.

Just go to https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom download and follow the instructions there or if native just:
Download a release from the Releases page.
Create a ~/.steam/root/compatibilitytools.d directory if it does not exist.
Extract the release tarball into ~/.steam/root/compatibilitytools.d/.
Restart Steam.
Enable proton-ge-custom.
Everything works perfectly after using the flag for wined3d even the in-game videos, opening, etc.
