Good experience ONLY if you play with Mouse and Keyboard, otherwise it really make the game unenjoyable.
Not really readable without an external screen
Game have some frame drops when playing with a lot of people
Few frames drop but they are not consistent somehow making it not a big deal.
The game runs greatly, had no issues at all. one of the best COD campaign on Steam Deck
Flawless Steam Deck experience, The game's design fits the device perfectly and you will have a lot of fun.
Almost a flawless Steam Deck experience, best enjoyed with mouse and keyboard, rare crashes. One of my most played games on the device.
The game launches a very annoying Epic Games Window, I just close it
Sometimes in night maps, in co-op only, my Steam Deck completely freezes and I have to restart but it's rare.
Using Proton experimental is a must-use because of Easy anti-cheat
Great time on the Steam Deck BUT you need to know a few things to be ready to play the game properly play. (look at concluding notes)
single stutter when you fire a weapon for the first time while starting a game
Number 1 : During the installation of the game (I think the disk writing part) : it will suddenly drop to 0 download/writing speed and it's fine you just gotta wait between 15/30 minutes and it will suddenly go back.
Number 2 : I really don't recommend putting the game on an SD card and you should put it on the Steam Deck SSD (see number 3 for the reason)
Number 3 : The game will start with a black screen, the game is loading (you can even hear the background music of the menu), AT THIS MOMENT DON'T PRESS ANYTHING ON THE GAME WINDOW, or you OS will consider the game frozen and, well, for some reason it will be. After 2 or 3 minutes the menu will be visible and you can now play the game! Have fun.
Great experience on the Deck, I mostly played docked but the game is very enjoyable.
I'm playing with mouse and keyboard and when you start a game I have to just tilt my left joystick to prevent me from only running instead of simply walking.
sometimes when coming back to the ship you experience a drop in FPS on foggy maps
Game doesn't start/opens a window with a Unity loading and then proceeds to crash.
Game used to work flawlessly but I booted it up 2 months after not touching at all, and it change to not being able to get to the menu.
I've seen others with this issue (1 report on protondb), but that's kind of sad that it just doesn't work anymore out of nowhere.
Other proton compatibilities did not help me.
A great experience on the Steam Deck better than on pc, I switch between mouse & keyboard and SD controls, both are great.
I'll will try to tinker and make it work but as for now with a vanilla steam deck it isn't a great experience on the Steam Deck
large freezes
I was losing the largest part of audio tracks and I had terrible stutters that would last up to 5 seconds
Fantastic experience for the Steam Deck, a must-have for this device, especially to play with friends in local or online.
Fantastic and chucklesome experience for a handheld device such as the Steam Deck
You can bind inventory items to the right track pad (left,up,right, down, press)
