Worked fine first thing on Bazzite, save the listed issue.
Alt-tab out of fullscreen makes game unresponsive to mouse clicks until you alt tab again, even if you clicked back in.
The battle music in this game has been stuck in my head for days.
Set refresh rate to 40fps
Runs perfectly out of the box, aside from a minor bug when fullscreened

If you are OK with playing the game in fullscreen and not alt-tabbing, or clicking outside the game, itll be alright, otherwise, you might want to play windowed.

Gameplay works perfectly, some minor windowing bugs on Cinnamon
On Cinnamon+XOrg in fullscreen, selecting a window on another monitor would "lock out" controls (both mouse and gamepad) until I manually alt+tabbed back into it.
Steam overlay is enabled for me, and seems to work fine (using Experimental). I am using an 8BitDo 2 Pro controller, which worked perfectly.
broken fullscreen, alt tab and keyboard
not sure if the game even has keyboard controls. can't search steam reviews and google is laughably bad these days. but touching keyboard seems to mess up the game and alt+tab and fullscreen don't seem to agree. trying to click after pressing anything on the keyboard seems to work every other click? if the game can't use keyboard that's just a no-go anyway
Disable Steam overlay
Sometimes mouse clicks wouldn't register after AltTabbing out and back in. AltTabbing out and back in again fixed it.
With Steam overlay on—loads to a black screen with music.
With Steam overlay off—flawlessly playable, except for the mouse issues mentioned above that are easy to work around.
Fun game and highly recommended.
Game did not work until Steam overlay was disabled, it just loaded into a broken window instead of the main menu.

If you're experiencing a black-screen on load: Disable Steam Overlay.
Black sreen on startup
To resolve the black screen on startup, launch the game through the Library Window and not from the Steam System Tray icon. Also if you Alt-Tab out of the game and return to it, the mouse clicks might not register. Just Alt-Tab out again and return to the game to resolve it.

If you don't mind the game freezing up at times, its perfectly functional.
From fullscreen, could not alt tab back in without manually hitting the icon in the taskbar
Game freezes for 5-10 seconds when completing a fight or sometimes selecting certain options. Resumes without crashing.
