Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-25
Previously, I have experienced no major issues using Proton 9.0-4 besides the Steam overlay being broken (which unfortunately does prevent buying the in-game currency). Switching to custom GE-Proton fixed the overlay, making the game fully functional.

Noticed some minor issues which could be tied to Bluetooth shenanigans or the game itself. No issues preventing actual playability so far.
Input:Lag
Felt some lags on some inputs, but could be tied to low batteries on the gamepad or the system's bluetooth not working properly.
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
Stage selection menu felt sluggish (which it also kind of did on Windows in all fairness).
The game ran perfectly fine on my machine out-of-the-box with no tinkering. I will update my report whenever I can confirm or deny any minor issues I faced.
