This is related to the installation: If you want to play with another audio than English, select it in the installer before installing.
I own the GOG version. Works without many major hiccups. Some areas will face slowdown with the default Steam Deck presets. Other than that, works like a charm.
Works fine OOTB, if you want to play vanilla. Mods require tricks to be able to access them.
Connection to Bethesda.net Prior to August 22th update, there was no way to connect to Bethesda.net, the game was freezing to the point it needed a complete reboot. Now, at login, the game will freeze, but you can quit the game and relaunch it. You should now be connected and able to browse mods.
HUD and texts can be sometimes be a bit small but readable for good sight people.
Runs pretty fine. The text can sometimes be hard to read for people with poor vision, especially in the sub-menus.
Sometimes the audio would stop playing, but after some seconds, it goes back fine. Had this problem in chapter 3 and 6.
Default option in game disabling controller input
If your Steam Deck input is not recognized, before launching a game, go to the IN-GAME settings (Y) -> input -> In "Misc" section, Change "Disable controller input on PC" to Off. If I'm precising IN-GAME in capslock, it's because I've been searching this option on my Steam Deck's side for ~30 minutes before realizing it. For non-English speakers like me, it had been fine to precise it before I'm writing this kinda duplicate report. For the rest, it works rather fine.
