Not launching with proton
Tried proton versions Experemental to 5.13, not launching. The has a netive build, but the perfomance is really bad
Conclusion: Unfortunately I have to request my first refund on my steam account :( The game seems fun, I think I'll check it out later, maybe the dev will address the issue.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
xaudio2_7=n,b
No audio past intro and first cutscene
Almost all sounds just stopped working after the first cutscene and bthesda intro. The only sound I hear is probably ambient, no voices, no UI sounds, silence
I am using a DS4 controller (original). The triggers (R2, L2) are completely broken, pressing any of them once causes them to keep clicking. Also, every frame it switches between Xbox and PS controller. Makes the game completely unplayable on controller for me. This is not a problem in any other game.
Even without tinkering, zero issues
Works perfectly OOTB
Fux experience, kinda wish they added a volume slider in game and there were some real frame drops at the end. Other than that it's a fun "exploration" game. Putting it in quotes because there's a lot of unnecessarily hard parts like lights out.
Worked with a lot of fps drops and crashes. Doesn't work anymore
Was working with Proton-GE, was lagging A LOT while loading new areas (even on ssd) and was crashing randomly. Joining a server was taking at least 2 minutes (again, game was on ssd). Now it crashes during joining server without any message or logs.
Can't get past first treasure in demo, game just closes itself
Works great out of the box, some tweaking is required if there is a need to install mods
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 mangohud gamemoderun %command%
Used protontricks to install BepInEx and mods
Game seems to forget my fullscreen option on every restart, any other option works fine
I have 3 outputs. For some reason the game sometimes selects random one on launch. This is easy to fix by just selecting the right output.
Great expirience OOB (out of the box). The game is surprisingly stable for the amount of stuff happening on the screen. If you played Shapez 1, this is a must try, especially with the 20% launch offer. And this is just an alpha test!
