Launched with the ezz-boiii client
Crashes sometimes when loading custom workshop maps and when on the higher rounds in zombies, though I haven't experienced the latter one since moving to this new GPU so that may have just been a result of my old one being bad.
The game will have major performance issues without the and has loads of security flaws without the ezz-boiii client. This is a problem on Windows too though. Wouldn't recommend you play the multiplayer at all on any version either, there really isn't any safe way to do it. Zombies works absolutely perfectly though, even when connecting to a friend who is on Windows with hamachi or something.
Couldn't launch the game with the native version, switch to Proton though and it worked immediately with mods and without any flaws.
Game worked 100% perfect with Proton without having to set launch options or modify game files. Wouldn't launch with native though.
Should be at Platinum, honestly. The game works without any issues whatsoever.
Minor graphical issues along the borders of the screen, unsure if that was a game issue or Proton issue however.
Worked without any issues aside from the minor artifacting around the edges of the screen in some levels, which was basically a non-issue as it didn't effect gameplay whatsoever. Refresh rate issue with Linux build was solved instantly when switching to Proton.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I don't think this was Proton's fault, I think it was just the game, but on the second level of chapter 2 I experienced some major slowdown for a few seconds at a time and then it would return to normal.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Played the game start to finish (only 2 hours lol) without any issues at all.
Contrary to other reports, the native port seemingly works 100% perfect under Wayland.
Sometimes when applying graphics settings, the game will condense into a tiny box and go into the top left corner. This is fixed upon restarting the game, though, but you'll have to redo your graphics changes.
Didn't have any issues at all aside from the graphics settings issue I mentioned before. Otherwise, the game was 100% smooth and I was able to complete The Second Encounter perfectly fine.
Runs absolutely perfectly on Linux with no tinkering, and exactly the same as it did on Windows.
It runs flawlessly without changing anything at all. I used ProtonGE since that is set as my global Proton version, but I've played with just the default Proton as well and it worked flawlessly as well.
