I could only play reliably by installing MangoHud and limiting the FPS to 48
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
The DXVK_ASYNC=1 launch option seems to help the game run more smoothly. I have not had any crashes or other issues so far and have been able to complete a few of the story mode events.
It has worked perfectly using a DS4 through Bluetooth.
Doesn't Work Even w RealFlight InterLink Controller
Shows the splash and then exits the game. I assume they do a check to make sure you have the required controller and this check fails because of a Linux compatibility issue. My RealFlight controller does work fine in Linux though and I've been able to play with it using the native version of the Lift-off drone simulator.
Game crashed in full screen. Also needed to turn off shadows and reflections.
It works fine with a game controller but I could not get it to work with my PPM RC USB controller adapter.
Provides Good RC Simulation w Some Minor Graphical Issues
I had to turn off shadows to be able to see the aircraft. I'm not sure how to technically describe what I'm seeing but the graphics are somewhat broken. I am able to run it at 1080p. The game runs smoothly and the physics feel good. So, it's still very useful as an RC simulator to use for practicing flying.
It worked well with my RealFlight Interlink Elite Controller.
