The stuttering problem is absolutely unplayable no matter what version of Proton you use. 4.11 - 5.13 were the same
Sometimes your mouse isn't detected, making you unable to skip the intro movies
Game has severe stuttering issues, even when looking at the floor. Unplayable even if you can exceed your monitor's refresh rate. No graphics setting makes a difference
The game locks up when exiting, the process needs to be killed manually. Mangohud logging also freezes the game
Game assumes my secondary, 9:16 monitor is the primary display making the game impossible to play
I cannot get the game to not assume it is running at 9:16 instead of 16:9, do not buy if you have non-standard secondary displays
Game would not run, Uplay says it doesn't work. This issue exists on Windows 10 as well without definitive answers
The Uplay overlay was off. Installing a crack lets lets the game run but no text is rendered
Ran out of the box, I don't use this version I use Galactic Adventures instead
60+ fps works well
You can't play this, its just a DLC for Spore or Spore Galactic Adventures executables
Seems to work well without issues others have
I don't think ModAPI Loader is works in Wine, at least on Steam. The project does recommend using the Origin or GoG releases and would probably be best to get those versions if you want those mods
Basic package mods work perfectly, 60+ fps hack works well, no bugs noticed that aren't a part of the game. World generation is functional, although I've only played creature and space stages.
Performance seems about what I expect for Spore on Windows, Proton 5.0 uses DXVK for all applicable games so no WineD3D slowdowns
Game doesn't load any intro videos, eventually crashes with a DX11 error
Works perfectly out of box
Use xOBSE instead of OBSE (https://github.com/llde/xOBSE). To get OBSE support, simply rename your OblivionLauncher.exe to something to back it up, then rename obse_loader.exe to OblivionLauncher.exe. Launch game normally. Nothing else needed. xOBSE has official experimental support for doing this, modification of files through commands is not needed
