Some minor artifacts in the menus, but the game looks fine.
Slower than on Windows, but plays ok on a lower resolution and low settings.
Sometimes the EA launcher crashes, but retrying fixes the issue.
Could not get it to work on any version but 8.0-5, but it works well with this version.
No longer works
Anti-cheat has broken this game which used to run fantastic on Linux. RIP BF1

This seems to be an issue as of the game becoming CS2 rather than CSGO, but the mouse y-axis seems less responsive than the x-axis. Moving the mouse slowly on the Y-axis causes no movement on screen while the x-axis seems fine. The game is not playable this way.
I'm surprised that a native game plays this badly. I get over 500 FPS on Windows and it barely keeps up with my 120hz monitor on Linux.
With Valve putting this much effort into getting the game run on Linux for the Steam Deck, I'm surprised with how badly it performs overall.
Works great out of the box.
No crashes, no graphical glitches, and great performance without any tinkering. You could be forgiven for mistaking this as a Linux native game.
Works Great Natively Out of the Box
Underrated prescient gem of a game. I'm very glad to see it working natively on Linux!
Crashes on Army Selection Screen
The game crashes on the army selection screen with a Vulkan error and leaves the system unstable afterwards. Unable to play.
Works great out of the box
It may take a minute to start (I'm thinking this is an Intel Arc related thing, compiling shaders perhaps), but once it does, it runs perfectly.
Works great on Ubuntu 24.04 with Intel Arc A770
Works great with Proton Experimental. No issues whatsoever, even XeSS works.
Really not playable. It sounds like the game was playable before update 8, though I've only played it on Windows before trying it on Linux.

Even on a higher setting, low res textures would display instead
Around 10 FPS on default settings
