For casual play, it's perfectly viable, not sure about competitive yet as there's occasional lag spikes, but not sure if it was RL servers.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental, Set launch options

Performance:Slight Performance Problems

Overall (online):Acceptable
Not sure if the servers at the point of testing were acting up, but hitting the ball in multiplayer gave brief lag spikes.
The game does not run smoothly without the launch options.

Performance:Slight Performance Problems
I experienced accosional micro stutters on Linux, which doesn't happen on Windows. I only notice it during the first match, not seen in other matches.
