Ran perfectly out of the box.
Minor stuttering for the first 10 minutes of playing, stops over time.
On game's launch options:
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 RADV_PERFTEST=aco PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 %command%
I used these based on people's suggestions, haven't ran the game without them.
Missing skill shop move demonstrations.
FPS drops when fighting in certain rooms. Game stutters occasionally.
Stutters occasionally
While by no means unplayable through Lutris, it's kind of a pain having to install the game again on a standalone Steam client.
Used the "Windows Steam Standalone Version", available on https://lutris.net/games/dragons-dogma-dark-arisen/
Could not load a save on Steam Proton.
While it runs at 60fps on Windows, it fluctuates 30-45fps running through Lutris.
None of the Proton versions I tried on Steam worked for me (6.3-5, 5.13-6, 5.0-10, and even 6.1-GE-2) , it would always crash when loading a save file.
Runs better on Proton than native version, while fixing graphical glitches the native version has.
Transfering a save file from native version to proton version is a pain in the ass.
Switch to proton 4.11, as the game has started freezing with versions 5.0 and above.
